The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the packaging sector.

Maintaining the safety, hygiene, and integrity of goods has gained critical importance with the pandemic. Demand for packaging materials has surged with e-commerce sales. But, the growth in e-commerce sales is driving an increased need to manage, contain and reuse packaging materials.
The healthcare vertical is seeing fast growth with products, such as syringes, vials, and cartridges now required on a larger scale. Firms are eying contingency plans and trying better understand their supply chain disruptions by leveraging technology and reducing reliance on any one off shore country. The pandemic has consequently caused some US based firms to increase their tech spend and have a preference for US domestic suppliers.
